On August 4, 1925, Ethel Leginska made history when she walked on stage and became the first woman to conduct at the Hollywood Bowl. This design is inspired by a local newspaper article from that day that described Leginska as a "noted woman musician" who took on the role of conductor, piano soloist, and composer all in one concert.

In celebration of the Hollywood Bowls's first 100 years of music, this line of apparel and home goods takes inspiration from our vast archives. Drawing from programs covers, newspaper clippings, and photographs, these unique designs reimagine our storied past as inspiration for our audiences of new and the future.
